Elizabeth Wann Nunley

Elizabeth Wann Nunley of Hazel Green, AL died on Saturday evening at her home.

Mrs. Nunley was born and raised in Sheffield, AL, a graduate of Sheffield High School and attended Larimore’s Business College. She was retired from IBM and Accellent Inc. (Campbell Engineering). Mrs. Nunley made her church home at Hazel Green United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be on Friday from 10:30am until 12:30pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with funeral services following at 12:30pm. Burial will be in Stateline Cemetery on Hwy. 231/431 North in Hazel Green, AL. Rev. Kim Scites of Hazel Green United Methodist Church will be officiating.

She was preceded in death by her parents Col. H.C. and Mrs. Marie Hobson Wann of Sheffield, AL, her first husband, Ralph O. Cochran of Sheffield, her brothers, Callen Wann and Jimmy Wann.

Mrs. Nunley is survived by her husband, David L. Nunley, Hazel Green, AL; stepson, Jason David Nunley of Portland, OR; stepdaughter, Kellee Nunley Brennan (Conor) of Chappaqua, NY; grandchildren, Madison Nunley, Vivienne Nunley, Austin Brennan and Callum Brennan;  and nephew Todd Wann (Krissy), Muscle Shoals, AL. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Jeanne Comer (Richard), Lawrenceburg, TN; Lorraine Neidert (Mac), Loretto, TN; and Janice Gilispie (Dicky), McMinnville, TN and many nieces and nephews.
