Elizabeth Reeves Becraft

Elizabeth Reeves Becraft, 73, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Friday.
Libby was a 1963 graduate of Hazel Green High School and attended Auburn University before earning a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She had retired from Huntsville Hospital after 33 years of service. Libby was a Christian and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hazel Green.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Becraft Sr; Her parents, B.H. & Hazel Spray Reeves; Her brother-in-law, George Lester Irwin Jr.
Surviving family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth Wilson Allison and James P. Allison; Her granddaughter, Carol Allison; Her sisters: Ruth Reeves Irwin and Barb Reeves Evans and her husband, Keith L. Evans; Her nephew, Craig Evans, and her niece, Rebecca Evans.
The family will receive friends on Sunday beginning at 1:30pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:30pm at the funeral home with Pastor Lon Ostrzycki and Pastor Phillip Eady officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery.
