Faye Talley Rigsby of Fayetteville, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Monday. She was 82. She was born and raised in New Market, specifically in the Walnut Grove community.
Mrs. Rigsby was a Christian and a member of the Petersburg Baptist Church. She was loving, generous, caring, and always wanted to help others. She enjoyed shopping and buying gifts for others. She was most-proud of her family and cherished spending time with them, having kept grandchildren when they were small, and was accused of spoiling them.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Tony Worsham and Todd Worsham; Her parents, Roy & Irene Talley; By her brother-in-law, Larry Moody, and by her sister-in-law, JoAnn Talley.
Surviving family members include her husband, Earl Rigsby; Her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa & Danny Campbell; Her grandchildren: Amber Orr, Matthew Worsham, Taylor (Kyle) Adcock, Tessa (Cody) Dickerson, Casey (Nick) Horton, and Tucker Campbell; Her great-grandchildren: Zane Orr, Arionna Worsham, Chloe Adcock, Kylie Adcock, Kinsley Adcock, Ada Jane Dickerson, and Rose Dickerson.
She is also survived by her siblings: Hilda Moody, Ronnie (Joyce) Talley, Patricia (Bill) Davidson, Sherry Dale (Gail) Cox, and by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5pm until 7pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7pm at the funeral home with Rev. Benny Berry and Rev. Billy Taylor officiating. There will be a private interment in Bevill's Cemetery later.
Mrs. Rigsby will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who knew her and will see her again in heaven.
