Mr. Floyd Kenneth “Pete” Woodall was born November 14, 1930 and went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2016 surrounded by his family. Pete was a loving husband to his wife, Loraine, for 66 years. She was the love of his life. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for her.
He was also a loving and devoted father to his daughter, Pat Woodall Tarpley and her husband, Richard, to his son, Ricky Woodall, and to his son Brian Woodall and his wife, Tina. He was a wonderful papaw to his grandchildren, Tonya Tarpley, Tina Tarpley Priest (Kraig), Kenny Woodall (Wynter), and Karen Woodall Pirtle (Chris). He was also known as Pappaw to his great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Tarpley, and Tassidi Priest, Dawson Tarpley, Braiden Pirtle, and Tripp Woodall.
In addition to time with his family, his church was one of the greatest enjoyments in his life. He was a devoted servant of the Lord. His life was a testimony of what a Christian should be. He loved his savior and never missed church or a chance to witness to others.
He was a hard worker all is life and believed in doing unto others as you would have them do unto you as the Bible teaches.
He always said he wished he could sing or play some type of music. We believe he is singing in the heavenly choir and is waiting for all his loved ones to join him. Heaven will never welcome a sweeter daddy and earth will never lose a greater soul. Until we meet again, we will miss you every day of our lives. - Your Loving and Devoted Family…
