Franchesca Woods-Powell
September 16, 1985 — June 14, 2017
Franchesca Woods-Powell, 31, of Fayetteville, formerly of Giles County, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday.
She was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan and loved her children very much.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Joe Johnson, and by her grandmother, Frances Jo Woods.
Surviving family members include her children: Kayla Powell, Christopher Powell, Cassidy Powell, and Cameron Powell; Her husband, Michael Chad Powell; Her parents, Tim & Jerri Woods; Her sisters: Tiffany Woods Hughes and her husband, Brandon Hughes, and Haley Woods and her fiance, Zane Hambay; Her nieces, Hallie Hughes and Raylynn Collins; Grandparents: Allen & Paulette Woods and Margie Johnson.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday at 2pm at the funeral home with Rev. Jamie Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery on Stateline Road in Ardmore, Alabama.
