Freeman BurgessJanuary 4, 1949 ~ August 7, 2010Mr. Freeman Burgess, 61, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Saturday evening from his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Burgess and by his parents, Charles H. and Dollie Burgess and by two brothers.He is survived by his sons, Kevin Burgess and his wife Alissa of Hazel Green, Al. Jason Burgess of Hazel Green, Al.. David Burgess of Illinois. His daughter Kristy Gordon and her husband John, of Fayetteville, TN. Grandchildren, Alex, Alexis, Kayleigh, Alan, Jessica, & Jacob Burgess, and John Gordon. His brother, Jerry Burgess of Union Grove, AL. Four sisters, Teresa Cown and Christine King of Hazel Green, Al and Lillie Selby and Patricia Hill of Lacey Springs Alabama, and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 6 until 10pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2pm at the funeral home with Rev. John Ben Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery.
