Funeral services for Russell Eugene Reid age 83 of New Market will be conducted Tuesday 1 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Holman officiating and burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mr. Reid passed away Saturday at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irlan and Irene Reid, brothers, James Reid, Ricky Reid, Charles Reid and sister Louise Judge
He is survived by his wife, Linda Reid, his children, Chris (Jennifer) Reid, Rodney (Jennifer) Reid and Jason Reid, his grandchildren, Courtney Reid, Alyssa Reid, Ben Vollmer and Anna Callan, two sisters, Agnes Reid and Helen Helser, one sister in law Sandra Reid and a host of loving family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be: Brian Bailey, Carrol Gillespie, Eric Mann, Tony Miller, Ricky Reid and Brad Hill. Honorary pallbearers are Isaiah Reid and Randy Bailey.
Visitation will be Tuesday 11-1 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
