Gennifer G. Whaley

Ms, Gennifer Whaley, 39, of Huntsville, passed away on Monday at her home.

She was a graduate of DAR High School in Grant, Alabama.  Gennifer loved caring for the elderly, dancing at the American Legion in Huntsville, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family who loved her very much.  In her younger years, she attended the Elkwood Holiness Church in Hazel Green.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Herbert and Beatrice Whaley and Gene and Peggy Mullinax;  Her sister-in-law, Tracey Whaley.

Gennifer is survived by her father, Gary Whaley;  Her mother, Doris Whaley;  Her sisters,  Tanya Whaley and Jessica Teeter;  Her brothers, Gary Jr "Bubba" Whaley and Tyler Whaley;  Her special friend, Jackie Bradford.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1pm until 3pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 3pm also at the funeral home.  Burial will then be in Elkwood Cemetery at the corner of Scott Rd and Elkwood Section Rd in Hazel Green.
