George Carl Jarrett

George Carl Jarrett, 34, of Hazel Green, passed away on Saturday evening.

George was a very intelligent person and could do anything that he put his mind to and had an entrepreneurial spirit.    He was loved by his family and his many friends.

George was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles Ronald Reeves and Robert Bailey, by his uncle, Melvin Jarrett, and by his cousin, Jennifer Bailey.

Surviving family members include his mother, Cherise Carden; His step-father, Bobby Carden; His father and step-mother, Leonard and Susan Jarrett; His brother, Devin Carden;  Step-brother and Step-sister, Brandon and Rebecca Newberry;  His grandmothers, Linda Reeves and Marie Bailey;

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Saturday at 2pm at the funeral home with Rev. Mike Patterson officiating.   Burial will follow in Stateline Cemetery.
