George JohnsonMay 6, 1945 - Dec 10, 2010George Johnson, 65, of Hazel Green, passed away on Friday. He had worked with the Memphis Police Department, and Shelby County Sheriff's Department before retiring from the Madison County Sheriff's Department. He currently owned and operated Computer Repair Depot in Meridianville.He is survived by his wife, Tracey Johnson. His daughters, Denise McIlwain, Michelle Chunn, and Laura Johnson. His son, George Johnson Jr. Step-sons, Jeremy Nichols, Dustin Dorsey, and Wesley Nichols. 9 grandchildren. Brother, Ken Johnson and sister, Linda Ashby.The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5 until 8pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Monday at 1pm at the church. The body will lie in repose an hour before the service. Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery.Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
