Gerald Ray "Buddy" Nix Sr.

Funeral services for Gerald Ray “Buddy” Nix Sr. age 77 of Hazel Green will be conducted Tuesday 11AM from the Family Worship Center in Hazel Green with Rev. Eddie Lones officiating. Burial will at Stateline Cemetery. Mr. Nix passed away Saturday at Crestwood Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Williamson Nix, his children, Lori and Mike Johnson and Ray and Beth Nix, his grandchildren, Jordan and Erin Johnson and Tyler Johnson, two sisters, Peggy Nix Stapler and Catherine Nix and a host of loving family members and friends. Mr. Nix owned and operated Nix Garage in Hazel Green for many years and retired later from Frito-Lay.

Visitation will be Monday evening 5-8PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home and the body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
