Gerlon L. Stewart

Mr. Gerlon L. Stewart, 86, of New Market, Alabama died Wednesday at Lincoln Medical Center in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Mr. Stewart was a member of the Bevill's Chapel Baptist Church and a longtime resident of the Walnut Grove community. Survivors include his two daughters, Brenda Cunningham and Reisa Nix both of Fayetteville, Tennessee; two sisters, Agnes Britton and Rachel Wilson both of Hazel Green, Alabama; one brother, Lawerence Wilmer Stewart of Hazel Green, Alabama; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Visitation with the family will be Friday 5 to 8 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11 AM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Faye Harwell and Rev. Benny Berry officiating. Pallbearers are Mike Britton, Terrell Wells, Rex Stewart, Jerry Wilson, Paul Wilson and Tristan Mitchell.
