Hilda Knowles

Ms. Hilda Knowles, 92, of Hazel Green passed away on Tuesday.

She was a member of the Meridianville Church of Christ and was a life-long resident of Madison County.  Hilda was retired from the Madison County Tax Collector's office as well as a gifted seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester & Mamie Knowles and her beloved sister, Marjorie Knowles.

Surviving family members include her aunts, Janie Knowles and Jimmie Ruth Wheeler, along with numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 14th, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Stateline Cemetery in Hazel Green.
