Houston Mayes Hicks
November 23, 1931 — June 29, 2015
Houston Mayes Hicks, 83, formerly of Huntsville, passed away peacefully Monday in Chattanooga, Tn.
He is survived by his wife, Nelta Jo Hicks, children, Sharon L. Sanders (Gary) and Karen Y. Voss (Roger). Other survivors include four grandchildren, Cassie Hamilton (Jared), Nathan Sanders, Matthew Voss (Nancy), Jeremy Voss, two great grandchildren, Felix and Aiden Hamilton and two nephews, Palmer Smith (Brenda) and Earl Smith.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 2 at the West Huntsville Church of Christ from 1 to 3 pm, followed immediately by services. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery.
