Hubert Mcmurtrie

Mr. Hubert "Mac" McMurtrie, 92, of Harvest, passed away on Sunday at his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. McMurtrie was a Christian and was part of the Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the United States Army and had fought in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Smith, and by his brothers: Thomas McMurtrie & Johnny McMurtrie; His sisters: Alice McMurtrie, Addie Sims, Nettie Rodman, and Annie Britton.
He is survived by his wife, Josiephine McMurtrie; His children: Norma Hobbs and her husband, Kenneth; Lewis McMurtrie and his wife, Becky; Tommy McMurtrie; Barbara "Bobbie" Little and her husband, Jimmy; & Faye Tillery and her husband, Bobby;
Mr. McMurtrie is also survived by six grandchildren, & five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday beginning at 11:30am at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:30pm. Entombment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
