Iva Jean Sharp

Private graveside services for Iva Jean Sharp age 85 of New Market will be conducted at Rice Cemetery. Mrs. Sharp passed away Sunday at her home. She was a native of Madison County and was retired from Chrysler. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Talmadge Steakley and Joe Sharp, one son, Tim Steakley, one step son, Jimmy Ray Sharp, her parents, Querless Johnson and Mary Florence Tipton Johnson, two brothers, Owen Johnson and Raymond Johnson, five sisters, Edith Johnson, Lucille Tate, Myrtle Shores, Mildred Fitch and Nell Southard.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Steakley and his wife, Shirley, one sister, Grace Sharp, her grandchildren, JoAnna Steakley McFall, Elizabeth Johnson and Kristi Steakley Dotson,  one grandson, Korey Steakley, one step daughter, Mona Hopper, two step sons, Charles Sharp and Teddy Sharp, many nieces and nephews and a host of loved ones and friends.

Due to the situation there will be no public services.
