James Gibson

James "Hoot" Gibson was born in Gilbertown, AL.  He was a long-time resident of Selma, AL, and recently moved to Hazel Green,  AL.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda Gibson.  Daughter,  Shea McNelley(Jerry).  3 Grandchildren, Lexie Gibson,  Jonah McNelley,  & Zach McNelley.  Great-granddaughter, A'ariyah Stewart.  Sister, Janice Dixon(Jim).  Many special nephews, nieces, cousins, & friends.

He was devoted to his faith in Jesus & his wife.  He loved to work in the yard, attend church, watch Auburn Football,  grill out, & spend time with family.

There will be no services.  Memorial gifts can be made to The American Heart Association.
