James Donald Mcdowell

Visitation with the family of James Donald McDowell age 38 of Toney Alabama will be take place Saturday 2-4PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Mr. McDowell passed away August 1st at Huntsville Hospital. He was a family man, life of the party and he never met a stranger, he loved sports of any kind especially football and he was an avid outdoorsman and gym fanatic.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leonard and Robbie Sanders, his paternal grandmother, Kathleen Ashwell.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie McDowell, his parents, Joseph and Virginia McDowell, one daughter, Emilie McDowell, one step daughter, Maisie Shoemake, one step son, Dakota Shoemake, two brothers and sisters in law, Charles McDowell and Melody Yates and Anthony McDowell and Mary Casarez, four nephews, Hunter McDowell, Hudson McDowell, J.J. McDowell and Bryant Caldwell and by one niece, Jasmine Yates.
