James Edwin Wood

Mr. James Edwin Wood of Harvest passed away on Sunday at his home.  He was 84.

Mr. Wood was a native of Great Britain and became an American citizen.  He held a master's degree and spent his career as a mechanical engineer.  Mr. Wood was a gifted artist and had painted beautiful portraits. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Wood,by his daughter, Yvette Sharpe, and one grandson.

He is survived by his daughter, Denise Dollar;  his grandson, Ryan;  Six great-grandchildren;  3 great-great-grandchildren and another expected soon.

Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.  They will privately celebrate Mr. Wood's life.
