James Kenneth Adkins

James Kenneth Adkins of Hazel Green passed away peacefully on Saturday evening at his home.   He was 82.

Mr. Adkins was a graduate of Hazel Green High School, one of the founding members of the Hazel Green Volunteer Fire Department, and a long-time Hazel Green resident.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar & Virginia Adkins, his brother, Douglas Adkins,  his sister-in-law, Patsy Adkins; His brother-in-law, Leabert Carter,

Surviving family members include his sons, Shane & Lisa Adkins, and Dan Adkins;  His grandson, Jim Adkins; His sister, Gail Adkins Carter;  His brother, David (Reba) Adkins

In accordance with Mr. Adkins' wishes, there will not be a public service.
