James "Sonny" Castle
April 8, 1952 — July 7, 2024
James "Sonny" Castle, 72 of Ardmore, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning. He was a Christian and member of Macedonia Baptist Church and had retried from Goodyear Tire and Rubber.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Faye Burrell and by his parents, Marvin & Espilois Castle.
Surviving family members include his wife of 52 years, Linda Castle; His son and daughter-in-law, James & Cathy Castle; His grandchildren: Dancy & Austin Fox, Taylor & Drew Whisenant, and Jacob & Elizabeth Childers. He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren and by his sister, Nancy Banks.
The family has planned a private funeral service at Hazel Green Funeral Home followed by burial in Elkwood Cemetery.
