Jean Alverson

Mrs. Jean Alverson, 81, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister who loved her family very much - especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also loved Elvis and Alabama football.

She was preceded in death by:

Her parents, Odell & Daisy Preston
Her sister, Lois Anderson

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Saturday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Shields officiating.  Burial will follow in Bevills Cemetery.
