Jean Hopkins November 15, 1943 ~ March 5, 2011Jean Hopkins passed away Saturday March 5, 2011. She was a good mother, great wife, adored "Grammie" and the best friend you could ever have. She was preceeded in death by her parents Bill and Melba Chalk of Columbus, GA. She is survived by her husband LTC (retired) Wyland Hopkins, three children, Michael Hopkins and wife Kimberly of Leesburg , GA, Shannon Satterfield and husband Jason of Hazel Green, and Sean Hopkins and wife Nicole of Alabaster, AL. Grandchildren Lindsey, Tyler, and Ethan Hopkins of Leesburg, GA, Samuel, Seth, and Sarah Satterfield of Hazel Green; Hilliary, Kayla, and Sierra Hopkins of Alabaster. Two sisters Sharon Berreth of Columbus, GA and Debbie Frith of Hazel Green. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
