Jeannie (Roden) Landman

Jeannie Roden Landman, 62, of New Market, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday.

Jeannie worked for Star Market in Five Points for many years.  She was a kind, caring, and encouraging person who loved her family, friends, and her animals, and was loved by many.  She was a Christian and a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was an intercessory prayer warrior.

She was preceded in death by her father, William "Billy" Roden, by her sister-in-law, Pam Southard, by her grandparents, John & Ida Cagle and Mrs. Leona Roden., and by her father-in-law, Jerry Landman.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Landman;  Her mother, Doris Roden;   Her sisters, Susan Duggan, Teresa Landrem, Paula Farrar;  Her sister-in-law, Demetria Roden;   Her brother, Eddie Roden;  Her nieces, Tracy Tucker, Monica Land, Brandi Hasley, April Graves, Ashley Roden, and Haley Roden; Her nephews, Jamie Pate, Greg Cole;  Her great-niece, Tara Fogg; Her mother-in-law, Carolyn Landman;  Her brother-in-law, Derrik Landman, her uncles, Paul Cagle, and Billy D. Harbin, and her aunt, Janice Stone.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30pm at the funeral home with Pastor Curtis Eason officiating.   Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery .
