Jenny (Hillis) Poore

Jenny M. Poore, 85, of New Market, passed away on Thursday.

Jenny had a kind heart, was caring and always willing to do things for others, and was always willing to forgive.

She was preceded in death by her son, Elton Lee Poore; Her sisters: Bessie Sneed, Roberta Ressigue, and Madelyn "Mae" Foster Hillis;  Her parents:  Samuel & Minnie Jane Hillis.

Surviving family members include her daughters, Anne Lamb, Portia Case, Vickie Holmes, and Donna Roberts;  Her son, Dennis Poore;  Her sister, Mary Seals; She is also survived by 21 grand-children and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6 to 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Sunday at 2pm at the funeral home with Pastor Josh Duncan officiating.  Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.
