Jerry Billings

Jerry Billings, 68, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away on Saturday.
He loved the state of Tennessee and considered it his home as he was born and raised there. He was a Tennessee football fan, loved Nascar, and enjoyed watching westerns. His pride and joy was his family and he loved them very much. Jerry worked for 20 years for Childers Distributing Company as a salesperson.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Gene & Genell Billings; His sister, Janice Billings; and his son, John Billings.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Billings; His daughter and son-in-law, Teresa & Steve Branch of Ardmore, Alabama; His son, Brad Billings of Hazel Green; His grandchildren: Lynzi Peoples, Logan Peoples, Alli Billings, and Angela Koebel; His great-granddaughter, Brylee Koebel.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be Wednesday at 2pm at Concord Cemetery on Joe Quick Road in New Market.
