Jerry Randall Fondren

Mr. Jerry Randall Fondren, 56, of Hazel Green, passed away on Tuesday.

He loved the outdoors - especially hunting, fishing, and camping, as well as spending time with his family and working on projects around the house.  He valued hard work, honesty, and was a very loving person.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Melford Fondren, his mother, Jessie Fondren, his brother, William Fondren, his brother, Melford Fondren Jr, by his brother, Archie Fondren, and by his grandson, Cole Huffman.

Surviving family members include his wife Karen Fondren;  His daughters and sons-in-law, Ashley & Blake Squires and Kristen & George Huffman;  His son, Colton Fondren;  His grandchildren: Caleb Squires, Gracie Squires, Ryan Huffman, Nataleigh Huffman, and Blakely Fondren; His five sisters:  Iris June Greene, Linda Holland, Ressie Tidmore, Sherrie Bagsby, and Melba Hurst.  He was also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 Noon until 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Rev. Eric Lones and Rev. David Ashby Jr officiating.  Burial will follow in New Sharon Cemetery.
