Jerry Wayne Hyatt, age 76, of Hazel Green Alabama, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024, surrounded by his family at his Hazel Green home.
Jerry was born and raised in Hazel Green. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished friend with all who encountered him. He had a love for horses and was deeply connected to the outdoors. Jerry also loved attending a good wake. It gave him the opportunity to honor and celebrate life in the company of others he knew and respected. .
Jerry is survived by his wife, Sherry Spears Hyatt; children Jerri Denise Baldwin and Jason Dewayne (Jeanette) Hyatt; grandchildren Allison Turner, Wyatt Baldwin, Isabella Hyatt, and Sophia Hyatt; one great grandchild Lyall Turner; siblings Doris Hawkins, Georgia Muirhead and Dan Hyatt.
The family will receive friends at Hazel Green Funeral Home, Monday, September 30, 2024, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A celebration of Jerry's life will begin immediately following the visitation at 7:00 PM.
