Jerry Ray Scott

Mr. Jerry Ray Scott, 74, of Huntsville, passed away on Wednesday at his home that he lovingly referred to as "The Ponderosa".

He was gifted at repairing anything that was broken, enjoyed working in his yard and garden, grilling out, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Allie B. Scott.

Surviving family members include his significant other, Sandra Scott;  His daughter and son-in-law, Sherry & Merle Barrows;  His son, Mark Scott;  His two granddaughters, Kathleen Jackson & Brittany Lawrence;  His four great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Arnold, Madison Lawrence, Caleb Lawrence, & Emily Lawrence; His two sisters, Kay Johnson & Janie Weir; His brother, Kenneth Scott.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 until 5pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
