Mr. Jessie N. Clark, 93, of Ardmore, Alabama, passed away on Sunday morning at his home surrounded by his family.   Mr. Clark was a veteran of the United States Army, a Christian, and a member of the Mable Hill Baptist Church.  He retired from the Genesco Shoe Company after 29 years and then worked for 10 years at Teledyne Wah Chang Engineering.  He was also a life-long farmer.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Leasel Clark and Polly Annie Honea Clark and by his son, Garry Clark, by his daughter-in-law, Joyce Ann Clark, and by several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Clark;  80 immediate family members including his children, Kenneth (Gayle) Clark, Lonnie Clark, Joe (Judy) Clark, Roy (Malynn) Clark, Barbara (James) Gurley, Doris (Doyle) Peoples, Rodger (Sharon) Clark, and MIchael (Mona) Clark;  He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Joyce Jean Clark, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of church family members.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Thursday at 11am at the Genesis (Stateline) United Methodist Church.   Burial with military honors will follow in the Stateline Cemetery.
