Jessie Langford

Mrs. Jessie Langford, 83 of Elora, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Monday evening from her home while surrounded by her loving family.  She was a member of Oakley Baptist Church and she loved spending time with her grandchildren, working in her garden. and feeding the birds.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Langford;  Her son, Robert Ned Langford;  Two sisters, Bessie Langford and Marie Raby;  Her brother, Robert Toney; Her parents, Alvie and Annie Toney.

Mrs. Langford is survived by her daughter, Janice Hall and her husband, Charles;  Her son, Charles Langford and his wife, Chris;  Her grandchildren: Heather Simmons, Matthew Langford, Tiffany Campbell, and Charlie Langford; Her great-grandchildren: Joseph, Presley, and Deacon;  Her sisters-in-law, Myrtle Hicks and Rita Campbell, and brothers-in-law, Lester Langford and Floyd Johnson.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 10am at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Rev. Charlie Hammonds officiating.  Burial will be in Rice Cemetery on Winchester Road in New Market.
