We regret to announce the passing of Jewel Dean Ashby, 79, of Meridianville. Mrs. Ashby passed away Tuesday, June 10th at her home. Mrs. Ashby is survived by her children, Retha Ashby, Cheryl Crawford (Ray) , Roger Ashby (Sherry) and Cathy Jean (Stefon), her sisters, Carolyn Wimberly and Earnestine Dixon and her brother, Donald Smith.
