Jewell ChandlerSeptember 21, 1923 ~ April 30, 2010Mrs. Jewell Chandler, 86, of Toney, went to be with the Lord and her husband on Friday at her residence. She was the last sibling of a large family reared in Madison County and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Chandler enjoyed attending church with her loving church family at Meridianville church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Paul Chandler and is survived by her children, Paula Renfroe, Jane Smith, Steve Chandler, and Sam Chandler along with 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be Sunday at 3pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Rosenblum and Jay Bachelor officiating. There will be a private burial at Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at 1pm Sunday.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends Inc; PO Box 608; Huntsville, Al 35804.
