Jimmy Stubbs

A celebration of life for James Thomas Stubbs, age 36, will be held on Saturday, October 20th at 5pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends beginning at 3pm.

Mr. Stubbs was a Hazel Green High School class of 2000 graduate. He passed away Wednesday, September 26 at his residence.

Jimmy is survived by the love of his life for 20+ years, Karen Stubbs, his only child Cardin Louise Stubbs, his mother Sherrie (Jack) Tomlin, the father that raised him Leon (Karla) Childs, his brother Tony (Lena) Stubbs, a niece Chelsie (Nathan) Soto, a nephew Anthony James Stubbs, a best friend of 20+ years ago Joshua (Kisha) Pearson, and countless friends and loving family members. Jimmy also left behind a priceless mother in law, Linda Hunter, that considered him her son for the majority of his life. He was at peace knowing that Linda would make sure Cardin and Karen would have everything they needed.

He was preceded in death by 3 unborn children, his biological father Daniel Stubbs, his father-in-law Ralph Hunter, and his grandparents Thomas and Barbara Marsden.
