Jimmy Wilburn

Mr. Jimmy Wilburn, 69, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018.

Jimmy worked for several years at Wilson Lumber Company as a forklift and truck driver before going to work for Boral Brick and Building Products.  He loved spending time with his family, joking with family and friends, fishing, and was a lifetime fan of Alabama football.  Roll Tide!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Burl Jessie Wilburn and Beatrice Billions Wilburn, his brothers, Burl Jessie Wilburn Jr, and Edward Wayne Wilburn.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Florence Gail Wilburn;  His brothers, Houston (Dean) Wilburn, Bill (Sandra) Wilburn,  Jessie (Ann) Wilburn, and Earl (Nancy) Wilburn;  Two sisters, Christine Flynt and Bettie Whaley, several nieces and nephews, and his father-in-law, Oscar Wilbanks.

Casket bearers will be Ronnie Wilburn, Teddy Wilburn, Xavier Freeman, Don Bankston, Ben Sanders, and Jordan Long.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 2pm on Sunday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Fayetteville.
