Funeral services for Joe Lewis Davis age 51 of Flintville will be conducted Friday 2PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Rev. Stoney Luna officiating and burial will follow in New Sharon Cemetery. Mr. Davis passed away Sunday May 2, 2021 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Mr. Davis was a native of Hazel Green and was a loader-driver for Ashley Sawmill and was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Davis and Mary Francis Walker Davis, one sister, Stephanie Davis and his grandparents, Luke and Zada Bell Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Damron Davis, his step children, Jennifer Faye Roland, Brandon Paul Parrish and Charles Kenneth Mires Jr., four sisters, Pamela and Johnny Colwell, Rebecca and Gene Colbert, Rose and Randy Sherrill and Susan and Brad Thomas, two brothers, Sebrin Walker and James and Virginia Davis, seven grandchildren, twenty two nieces and nephews and twenty one great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Tommy Hunt, Patrick Whitsett, Charles Mires Jr., Brandon Parrish, James Davis and Johnathon Armstrong.
Visitation will be Thursday evening 6-8PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
