Joe Stockley Sr

Mr. Joe Stockley Sr., 78, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away on Saturday at his home surrounded by his family.   Mr. Stockley was retired from the United States Army and had attained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Stockley;  His children: Joe Stockley Jr, Walter Stockley, Glenn Stockley, Dennis Stricklin, Gregory Morrow, Denise Stockley, Fonda Morrow, Cotina Pickrell;  He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren,his sisters, Rosemary Writes and Marilyn Carusotto and a host of loving family members and friends.

Mr. Stockley was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Rose Stockley, and by his sisters, June, Angela, and Shirley.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10am at the funeral home with Pastor Gregory Morrow officiating.  Burial with full military honors will follow in Taylor Cemetery in New Market.
