John L. Graves

John Graves of Meridianville, Alabama passed away on Friday.  He was 55.  John was a 1986 graduate of Hazel Green High School.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Graves, and by his brother, William 'Billy" Graves Jr. ; his grandparents, Ruth H. Croft, Johnny Croft, Wince Messer, Ethel Messer, Telette Graves, and Alva Leonard Graves.

Surviving family members include his wife, Gladys Graves;  His daughter, Kandice Graves;  His son, Johnathan Graves; His grandchildren: Brooklyn, Riley, and Jayden Hymer and Taylor Robinson;  His step-children: Charles Robinson, Keith Robinson, and Donna Barron;  His father, William "Bill" Graves Sr;  His sister and brother-in-law, Kristi & Michael Javins;

The family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at 12pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will then be at 2pm at the funeral home with Reverend Keith Lorick officiating.  Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens and will follow the service.
