Johnnie Wesley Moore passed away Monday May 25, 2009 at home after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Martha Lou Moore; His children Cathy Howard, Danny Moore, Dean Moore & Sheila, Rita Mason & Jackie; His Grandchildren: Mindy Henson, Teiera Mason, Daniel Moore, & Stacey Moore; Great Grandchildren: Kaylee McAllister, & Jackson Mason: Siblings Roy Moore, Rachael Phillips, Dickey Ray Moore, Carolyn White, and Barbara Durham along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and a host of friends.He was preceded in death by his son Roger Wesley Moore, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Homer Moore, Mother and Father-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Elmer McCormick, his brothers Lester Moore and Rufus Moore and his sisters, Ruby Medley & Lillie Mae Phillips, his son-in-law Tommy Howard;Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 5 until 8pm at the Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2pm at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rickey Holman and Rev. David Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Plevna.
