John Edward Whitten

Mr. John Edward Whitten, 85, formerly of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020.  Mr. Whitten was a Christian and had been a member of Huntsville's First Baptist Church for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas & Kathleen Whitten and by his brother, Larry Whitten.

Surviving family members include his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy & Daniel Thompson;  His brothers:  Tom Whitten and David Whitten.

The family will receive friends on Satuday beginning at Noon at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Seanor officiating.  Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
