John "J.T." Thomas Bagsby

Mr. John Thomas "J.T." Bagsby, of Hazel Green, passed away on Sunday.  He was 88.  He retired from the City of Huntsville where he had worked at Maple Hill Cemetery for 37 years.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Molly Bagsby and Myrtle Haggermaker. His brothers: Sam Bagsby, and Dan Bagsby.

Surviving family members include his daughter, Maranda (Ron)  Bagsby;  His son, Brian (Angela) Hunter;  His grandchildren:  Cody Eakes, Noah Hunter, and Kolby Sharp;  His sister, Margaret McCluskey. His friend and the mother of his children, Sherrie Bagsby.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12pm until 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home with Rev. David Ashby officiating.  Burial will be in New Sharon Cemetery.
