Joseph C. Jensen

Joseph C. "Joe" Jensen, 50, of Meridianville, passed away on Friday.  He was a member of Hazel Green United Methodist Church.

Joe was an avid fan of drag racing, loved his 1972 Camaro that he had had since he was fourteen, and enjoyed boating and water skiing.  He was a devoted husband to his wife, Gretchen, and father and caregiver for his son, Jacob.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James & Lucille Petty and Horace & Wilma Jensen.

Surviving family members include his wife,  Gretchen Jess Jensen;   His son, Jacob Christopher Jensen;  His parents, James & Sandra Jensen;  His brother, James Jensen Jr.;  His father-in-law and mother-in-law, James & Phyllis Jess; He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday at Noon at Hazel Green United Methodist Church.  Funeral services will follow at 1:30pm at the church.  Entombment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
