Joyce Elaine Pellem, 70, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on December 28, 2024, at her home. She was born on June 27, 1954, in Huntsville, Alabama, to the late Ellis and Wilma (Smith) Lamb.
Ms. Pellem was a mother, daughter, aunt, and a friend to all who knew her. She never met a stranger and was known for her kind heart and her easy going nature. Joyce loved spending time with her family and had a deep affection for animals.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Lee Pellem Sr.; her sons, Lee Pellem Jr. and Dwayne Lamb; her daughter, Darlene Herrero; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Wilma Lamb.
The family will receive friends at Hazel Green Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM on December 31, 2024, at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Ricky Hamilton officiating. Interment will take place at Rice Cemetery.
