Joyce Darlene Teter

Joyce D. Teter, 71, of Hazel Green, Al, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, February 15, 2021.

She was born on May 26, 1949 in Atlantic, Iowa and was the daughter of Giles and Mildred (Johnson) Shipp.

She was married to Warren (Doc) Teter on December 31, 1982, who survives.  They lived in Emlenton, PA for a number of years and had great friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: Marion Johnson & two brother-in-laws: Bob & Brad Teter.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son; Jeff Arthur Sr. and wife Kay of Minnesota, daughter; Rachele (Rae) Ramos & fiance’, Justin Perrine of Cooperstown, PA; stepson, Warren Teter Jr. of Dutton, Al; step daughter; Wendy Teter of Williamsport, PA; grandchildren; Jeff Arthur Jr, Blake Arthur, Jennifer Trevillion, Jodi Arthur, all of Omaha, Nebraska, Corey (Lindsay) Sherman, Codey (Kayleigh) Sherman all of Emlenton, PA, Austin, Jacob & Ashley Teter of Alabama; Branden Bower of Williamsport, PA; great grandchildren; Waylon, Jeff III, Avery, Lexi, Houston, Taren, Dallas, Jenia, Amara, Zander. She is also survived by a sister: Jenny Jones of Iowa along with a number of nieces & nephews.

There will be no services and a plan of celebration of life in the future.
