Judy Gilfand

Mrs. Judy Gilfand, 75, of Meridianville, passed away on Friday.

She grew up in Miami, Florida and moved to the Huntsville area in the late eighties.  She was employed by State Farm Insurance and worked with the Robby Rowan agency.  Mrs. Gilfand loved spending time with her grandchildren, family friends, shopping.  She loved animals, especially her dogs and enjoyed painting and working with stained glass.  She also enjoyed watching her grandsons play baseball.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Margery Kerr and her brother, Sam Kerr Jr.

Mrs. Gilfand is survived by her husband, Norman Gilfand of Harvest, Alabama;  By her daughter, Chris Willard and her husband, Daryl of Hazel Green, Alabama;  Her step-daughter, Donna Golden and her husband, Charlie of Rhode Island;  Her step-son, Eric Gilfand of California;  Her grandchildren, Zach Willard and his wife, Kendra of Auburn, Alabama;  Tucker Willard of Hazel Green, Alabama;  Chance Willard of Hazel Green, Alabama;  Her great-granddaughter, Madelyn Ruth Willard of Auburn, Alabama;  Her niece, Reagan Kerr Potts of Florida and her nephew, Kenneth Kerr of Texas.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:30pm until the Celebration of Life which begins at 7pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Dr. Tommy Bolan will be officiating.
