Karen Renee Hernández

Karen is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Frances Elizabeth James-Burney; father, Charles Leon Burney; brother, Danny Leon Burney; and sister, Katrina Elizabeth Burney.

She is survived by her sons, William Frederick Rugart III and Skyler Matthew Hernández; her daughter, Brandy Leigh Jones (James); her sister, Catherine Dianne Boyington (Dean); her grandchildren, William Frederick Rugart IV, Lexus Leigh Rugart, Hailey Renee Jones and Dominique Scott Richetts; and she is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 2 P.M. to 3 P.M., followed by a memorial service beginning at 3 P.M at Hazel Green Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the ASPCA.
