Kathy Joan Pardon

Joan Pardon, 62, of Ardmore, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday evening in Nashville while surrounded by her loving family.

Joan was a kind and cheerful person who loved children, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She loved to cook and was an avid University of Tennessee Football fan.  She enjoyed living a simple life and would do anything to help others.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Hannah Ruth Powers, and by her parents, Dump & Retha Hasting.

Surviving family members include her husband, Wayne Pardon;  Her son Dan Powers and his wife, Heather of Fayetteville, TN;  Her son, Jeremy Pardon of Elkton, TN;  Her five grandchildren: Paige Pardon, Giovanni Pardon, Carter Powers, Hailey Powers, and Canaan Pardon; Her two great-grandchildren: Emma Pardon and Chasen Pardon;  Her siblings:  Ricky Steve Hasting and his wife, Patty; Janice Blade and her husband, Randy; Portia Gail Jackson and her husband, Dennis; Wilma Darlene Willis;  Pamela Sue Belcher and her husband, Bill; Stanley Wilburn Hasting and his wife, Nancy Lee;

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Saturday at 10am at the funeral home with Pastor Phillip Eady and Pastor Roger Cothren officiating.  Burial will follow at New Grove Cemetery on Philpot Road in Lincoln County, Tennessee.
