Mr. Larry Wayne Boyett, 71 of Flintville, TN passed away on Saturday, January 14, surrounded by his loving family and friends after losing the battle to Parkinson‘s disease. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. As a young man he was a volunteer fireman in the Hazel Green, AL community and later became a paramedic.
He was involved in helping coach peewee baseball, and also coaching the Lincoln County Trap Team. He enjoyed being outdoors to garden, work in the yard, fish, dove hunt, horseback ride, and care for his chickens. He played guitar, sang, and was known to square dance a round or two, and was an avid Alabama fan. What he enjoyed most in this life was spending time with his family. He was employed for the majority of his career at Amana (Goodman) in Fayetteville, TN where he made lifelong friends.
Mr. Boyett was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Laura Boyett, father-in-law Kenny Counts, sister Carolyn Bond, sister in law Gwen Boyett; Brother’s Richard and Phillip Boyett, one niece, two great nieces, and RuthAnn Butler.

He is survived by wife of 23 yrs, Juanita Counts Boyett, sons: Larry Jr (Tater) and wife Summer, Ben and wife Christie, Andy and wife Tracy, their mother Treva and husband Donnie, Nick and wife Jess, and Wesley. Daughters: Brandy and Rachel.
Grandchildren: Edward and wife Brittany, Kara and husband Zakk, Chance, Shea, Hailie, Darrius, Shane, Elizabeth and husband Michael, Samantha and husband Caleb, Harley, Trent and wife Lexie, Tyler (Bug) and wife Tori, Dixi, Braxton, Nicholas, Corbin, Bryleigh, Izabella, Justice, Lexie, and Bentley.
Great grandchildren: Bryson, Aubree, Baileigh, Waylon, Jaxson, Kaylie, Savannah, Emma, Nevaeh, Elizabeth, Lilyana, and Karson.
Brothers: John and wife Sandy, Billy Joe, Jeff and wife Shelia, brother in law Arnold Bond. Sisters: Deborah, Amy and husband Wayne, Chris, Kathy, and Carlotta.
He also leaves behind extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank Hazel Green Funeral Home, Lincoln Medical Home Health and Hospice, especially Aunt Dee. Special thanks to Ana Winsett (mother-in-law) and Heather Powers for their selfless sacrifices in caring for the family. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11 AM at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Rev. Lon Ostrzycki and Bro. Steve Farrow officiating and burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Flintville.
