Larry Wayne Myers

Mr. Larry Wayne Myers, 64, of Hazel Green, passed away on Thursday at his home.   Mr. Myers served in the United States Army and was in the Vietnam War.  He was also a member of Bevill's Chapel Baptist Church and had retired from Piping Systems of Huntsville -  a company that treated him with extreme kindness after he became disabled.

Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his father, Eddie L. "Boots" Myers, by his mother, Jimmie Lee Satterfield Myers, his sisters, Shirley Myers Clutts and Carolyn Myers, and by his brothers, Calvin and Dewayne Myers.

Survivors include his brother, Terry (Denise) Myers; His sisters, Jean (Goldie) Pigg and Martha (Harold) McLaughlin;  Four nieces: Teresa Pigg Moore, Tina Clutts Self, Kristi Myers, and Jennifer Myers Cornell;  One nephew, Kelly Clutts.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Graveside funeral services with military honors will be Sunday at 2pm at Bevill's Cemetery with Rev. Benny Berry officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Larry's honor.
