Larry D. Walker
April 24, 1948 — April 9, 2018
Larry D. Walker, 69, of New Market, Alabama, passed away on Monday.
Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He owned and operated Country Cleaners on Hwy 53 and on Hwy 231-431 in Hazel Green, was an avid Alabama football fan, and loved music and playing his guitar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph C. Walker and Dorothy "Dot" Baker Walker, by his brother, Robert Walker, by his aunt, Shelby Jean Tidwell, and by his cousin, Peggy Sue Lindsey and her husband, Gene.
Surviving family members include his wife, Tiffaney Walker; His son, Joseph Walker and his fiance, Shevy, and her children; His daughter, Amanda Walker; His sister, Alice Walker; His grandchildren, Eva Perez and Danny Perez, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday beginning at Noon at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home with Rev. Chris Adams officiating. Burial will be in Elkwood Cemetery.
